Ok, so I found a new favorite worth blogging about ... my little-wittle "Bath Baby"!!! Chandani HATED bathes when she was a tiny newborn :( She'd scream from the times her clothes came off...so modest (lol)...until she was dried and dressed again. Then sometimes even after being dressed she'd cry, it was SOOOO sad :( However, around about 2 months (which is also when she finally got some baby fat...yay!) she started to LOOOOOVE her bathes. It's enough to make a mommy go crazy with happiness :) Ever since then bathtime is our FAVORITE TIME of the day. Whether she's cooing and gurgling, big-cheesy-grinning or looking a little drunk and groggy...it's always a daily favorite! There is absolutely NOTHING SWEETER than a fresh bathed and lotioned baby!!! Oh, the smell of their precious little heads, their soft round tummy and their man-I-just-want-to-eat-you toes...it's just bliss. After bath we always get our daily massage (oh, to be a baby) and then get our jammies on for story time in the rocking chair. We end up reading about four or five books (some more than once) and singing some favorite lullabyes. It's just so absolutely WONDERFUL...just me and my "Bath Baby" :)
I love that after bath smell too. Sounds like you've got a great routine going. Keep it up. It totally pays off. Layton's at an age now that right after bathtime and just before I put him to bed is his happiest most pleasant time of the day.
